Upcoming for all 1.8T 20V engines is the new evoheatshield A4104 that will allow VW Golf/Jetta IV and New Beetle equipped with small-port cylinder heads to use large-port intake manifolds (OEM or aftermarket). As is the case with the A4102 evoheatshield, this new part can also be fitted on AUDI tt and A4 cars with similar engines.
The A4104, featuring a CNC machined smooth tapered transition at the intake ports is the latest addition to the phenolic spacer family of evoheatshields. Standard evoheatshield thickness of 0.250" is used on black paper phenolic material. The kit also includes 2 new OEM gaskets (one small-port, one large-port)  a stainless steel intake manifold support bracket and bushing, hardware and illustrated installation instructions.
