For many years Evolution tuning
has been involved in the tuning of VW cars through a simple philosophy:
create innovative performance parts that work, and that are easy to
install, using the most efficient production methods and high quality
materials.
Originally known in the past for its evoheatshields,
phenolic spacers that keep the intake manifold at a much lower temperature than
the hot cylinder head, Evolution tuning enters a new era
in 2007.
After a long pause in the development of new engine performance,
Evolution tuning is back, picking up the pace again and turning its
attention to the latest engines offered by VW. Specifically, the new
2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine in A5 Rabbits and Jettas V, that offers a high
tuning potential due to its design heritage and the impressive
flow characteristics in stock trim.
A full, comprehensive engine program is being
develop to address improvements in the gas exchange process of this great
engine. It has started early in 2007 and it will continue well into 2008.
Gradually, hp by hp, parts are being engineered to extract the most power
from the engine following a planned strategy.
