The evoheatshield for the VW 2.8-liter DOHC 16V engines, #A3102, includes 2 OEM lower intake manifold gaskets, 1 OEM upper intake manifold gasket, a 0.250"-thick black phenolic evoheatshield spacer, 2 cylindrical phenolic spacers, all-stainless steel hardware and illustrated instructions manual.
NOTE 1: The #A3102 evoheatshield is designed to fit in Golf/Jetta III VR6 cars only. Other cars, such as the Corrado SLC may experience serious hood-clearance issues due to their tight hood-to-engine design at the front.
NOTE 2: The Installation of the #A3102 evoheatshield requires the minor grinding and removal of some material from the alternator housing as explained and illustrated in the installation manual.
