The evoheatshield for the VW 1.8-liter SOHC 8V engines includes 2 OEM intake manifold gaskets, a black phenolic evoheatshield spacer and illustrated instructions manual. For engines with stock cast iron manifolds and due to their interference with the intake manifold, use the evoheatshield #A2101 (with a 0.125"-thick evoheatshield spacer). For engines equipped with exhaust tubular headers, use the evoheatshield #A2101H, with a 0.250"-thick black phenolic spacer which also includes longer all-stainless steel hardware.
